We’ve been out and about issuing cheques to the tune of a whopping £108,676 to charities and services on the frontline of hunger and homelessness in cities and towns across England.
This is going to make a massive difference to people in need as the cost of living begins to bite hard, and people plan for a tough winter – in their homes, temporary accommodation, or on the streets.
This year’s biggest beneficiaries to date are Changing Lives and Newcastle United Foundation, each receiving cheques for £25958.59.
Donations included £5,000 to the Ukraine DEC Appeal, promised as part of our CEO Sleepout events in Middlesbrough, Alnwick, Kent and Harrogate.
This was made possible by funds raised or donated by each of our CEO Sleepout participants that have braved a night sleeping under the stars, giving up their warm beds and home comforts for one night to help those who don’t have the luxury.
We want to that each and every one of YOU who have made this possible. There’s more to come with events happening across England this Autumn and YOU can be a part of it:
