How do I register for a CEO Sleepout event?
Visit our events list: Go to ceosleepout.co.uk.
Select your event: Choose the CEO Sleepout event in your nearest city.
Sign up: Click the registration link and fill out the required information. This will register you for the event, and creates your fundraising page!
Customise your fundraising page: Your page is automatically created for you in Enthuse. All you need to do is add a photo and some words about why it’s important that people sponsor you, and share it with all your contacts, colleagues, friends and family.
Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email with further details.
What should I bring to the event?
Sleeping bag: A warm sleeping bag suitable for outdoor conditions.
Layered clothing: Dress in layers to stay warm throughout the night.
Ground mat: Something to lie on for extra insulation.
Personal items: Any necessary personal items, such as medications and toiletries.
Snacks and water: While some refreshments may be provided, it’s good to have your own supply.
A torch, power pack and charging cable so that you can record and share your experience via social media on the night!
What can I expect during the event?
Registration and Welcome: Upon arrival, you’ll check in and be welcomed by our team.
Networking Opportunities: Meet and connect with other business leaders, all ready for a night outdoors.
Guest Speakers: Hear inspiring stories and insights from individuals who have experienced homelessness and from charity partners.
Outdoor Sleepout: Spend the night sleeping outdoors to raise awareness and funds.
Morning Wrap-Up: A light breakfast will be provided, followed by a brief closing session.
How should I prepare for sleeping outdoors?
Check the weather: Be prepared for any weather conditions.
Layer up: Wear multiple layers to stay warm.
Stay dry: Bring waterproof clothing and bags to protect yourself and your belongings from moisture.
Stay safe: Please follow our safety guidelines.
Respect the venue: We are lucky to spend nights in some very prestigious venues across the UK. Please respect their house rules.
Who can participate in a CEO Sleepout event?
Our events are specifically designed for business leaders, executives, and entrepreneurs from the SME and enterprise sectors. If you fall into this category and want to make a difference, we welcome you to join us.
What is the goal of the fundraising effort?
Our goal is for each participant to raise or donate a minimum of £1000. These funds go directly to supporting frontline charities that combat homelessness and poverty.
How does the money raised make an impact?
The funds raised are used to provide emergency food and shelter, support services, and long-term solutions to help individuals and families escape homelessness and poverty. We partner with 90 charities across the UK to ensure the money reaches those who need it most.
