How long have you been in business for?

28 years, mainly leading global security teams.

What are some of your driving values?

Doing the right thing and being kind to other! Leaving the world in a better place than I found it.

You’ve always been great at giving back, why is it important to you?

You never know you may need someone’s help and therefore don’t judge a book by its cover.

Which causes are closest to your heart / one thing about society in the UK that you wish you could change?

Homelessness, suicide prevention and living in a safe and secure environment.

How did you get involved in the CEO Sleepout?

Over 2 years ago I did my first sleep out in Manchester where I heard the impact we make together - from the funds raised to the incredible volunteers giving time to help others get back on track.

What other ways do you "give back" or work to strengthen communities you work within?

I sit as a Board trustee for the Consortium for the prevention of suicide, I am an ambassador for prevention violence against women and girls and domestic abuse, I sit as an advisory board member for terrorism international global network (TinyG) I am on a gender based violence special interest group to drive change in the education sector.

How might you see business playing a part in creating a fairer society here in the UK?

We all need to work together and collaborate for a better future for everyone

Why is it important that those in business lead with purpose?

We have the opportunity to drive change and be part of changing the narrative, homelessness has no place in the world and we need to look after each other.
