Providence Row: Supporting People Away from the Streets
Homelessness can mean more than not having a place to stay. It can bring isolation, poor health, and a constant struggle to meet basic needs. For many people in East London, finding a way out of that situation takes more than emergency help, it takes ongoing support and somewhere safe to turn.
Providence Row works with people facing homelessness across East London and the City. They provide a safe and welcoming space for those in crisis, alongside practical support that helps individuals begin to rebuild their lives.
Their services focus on both immediate needs and longer-term change. This includes access to essential facilities, advice, and tailored support that helps people improve their health, regain confidence, and move towards greater independence. The aim is not just to respond to homelessness, but to support people in moving away from it for good.
Every person’s situation is different. Some may need help with housing, others with health or rebuilding daily routines. Providence Row works alongside each individual, offering support that reflects their circumstances and helps them take steady steps forward.
Partnerships play an important role in making this work possible. Through CEO Sleepout, Providence Row is able to reach more people and strengthen the support they offer. The funding raised helps them continue providing vital services while also raising awareness of the realities of homelessness in the capital.
By combining immediate help with longer-term support, they create opportunities for people to move away from the streets and towards a more stable and secure future.
