Porchlight is excited to team up with CEO Sleepout for the third year running. If you took part last year, you probably saved the lives of several people. You and other caring people like you helped Porchlight give a lifeline to 7,442 homeless and vulnerable people in Kent.

Hazel Eddy, head of fundraising at Porchlight, adds: “The support shown by all those taking part in CEO Sleepout for Porchlight is vital. Our charity is bracing itself for homelessness funding to be cut in April. The money raised by everyone taking part in CEO Sleepout will help protect lifesaving services, such as our hostels, from these cuts. The commitment, time and fundraising of everyone taking part will truly made a difference.”

With your support we achieved some incredible things last year:
 269 people who were homeless have left the cold, damp streets behind. Thanks to you, they wake up every morning in a cosy bed and with the privacy of their own space.
 3425 people whose mental health has been affected by issues such as money worries or housing insecurity are now feeling more positive and secure. They were helped by Live Well Kent & Medway – a network of organisations (including Porchlight) that address all the issues someone is facing and prevent their mental health from worsening.
 193 young people dealing with mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression are now feeling more hopeful for the future. They were supported by our adolescent wellbeing service.

We don’t know what the future holds, but we do know that 2024 – which marks Porchlight’s 50th anniversary – will be another tough year. More funding cuts are coming.
Nobody chooses to be homeless but with your support, we can continue to help them. By taking part in CEO Sleepout for Porchlight you’re creating a future where people are protected from the
devastation of homelessness. And that’s an achievement to be proud of. As part of Porchlight’s 50th anniversary we are striving to make this year’s event our biggest so far.

Held at the iconic Leeds Castle on 25th March CEO Sleepout looks set to be an unforgettable experience.
