Church Homeless Charity: Small Grants, Real Change
Every experience of homelessness is different. For some, it’s a sudden crisis. For others, it’s a long and complex journey shaped by many challenges. What often stands in the way of moving forward is not always a big barrier but a small, practical gap that no one else is able to fill.
Church Homeless Charity focuses on meeting those individual needs. They provide small, personalised grants to people experiencing homelessness, helping them take the next step towards a place of their own.
These grants, up to £175, are tailored to each person’s situation. That might mean helping someone move from the streets into a hostel, or supporting them as they leave temporary accommodation and set up a stable home. The support is simple, but it can unlock progress at a critical moment.
Homelessness doesn’t follow a single path, and neither do the solutions. What works for one person may not work for another. Church Homeless Charity recognises this, shaping their support around real-life circumstances rather than fixed criteria.
For many, these small interventions come at exactly the right time when a bit of help can prevent someone from falling back or give them the push they need to move forward.
Through CEO Sleepout, they are able to continue providing this targeted support, reaching more individuals and helping turn small steps into lasting change.
