Red Sky Foundation – Lifelong Support for Heart Health
Living with a heart condition can affect every part of life. For children, adults, and their families, it often brings ongoing medical needs, uncertainty, and the need for long-term support beyond hospital care.
Red Sky Foundation works to improve the lives of people affected by heart conditions across the UK. Their focus is on providing practical help and ongoing support, ensuring individuals and families are not facing these challenges alone.
They support cardiac care through grants, equipment, and awareness, working closely with hospitals including the Children’s Heart Unit at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle. Their work also extends to other NHS services and partner organisations, helping strengthen the support available across different regions.
A key part of their approach is prevention and education. By providing defibrillators in schools and public spaces, they help ensure life-saving equipment is accessible when it’s needed most. Alongside this, they offer training in CPR and defibrillator use, as well as guidance for families managing heart conditions.
Every situation is different. Some people need immediate medical support, while others require ongoing guidance and reassurance. Red Sky Foundation works across this spectrum, helping people feel more prepared, supported, and informed.
