Updated Terms and Conditions for CEO Sleepout UK’s London Marathon 2025 Auction
1. Eligibility
1.1 The auction is open to individuals aged 18 years or older.
1.2 Each bid represents a pledge to donate the stated amount to CEO Sleepout UK, a registered charity.
2. Bidding Process
2.1 The minimum starting bid is £2,000.
2.2 All bids must be submitted by 11:59 PM on Thursday, 28th November 2024.
2.3 The two highest bidders will secure the places.
2.4 The winning bids will be announced on Friday, 29th November 2024, via [communication channel – email, phone, etc.].
3. Payment
3.1 Winning bidders must fulfil their pledged donation within seven (7) days of being notified, or by Friday, 6th December 2024, whichever comes first.
3.2 Payment must be made via the payment method outlined in the notification email.
4. Fundraising Commitment
4.1 In addition to their winning bid, successful bidders are expected to actively fundraise for CEO Sleepout UK ahead of the London Marathon 2025.
4.2 Participants must use the Enthuse fundraising platform to collect donations and select CEO Sleepout UK from the platform’s drop-down charity list during setup.
5. London Marathon Entry
5.1 Each winning bidder will receive one place in the London Marathon 2025.
5.2 Entry is non-transferable and cannot be sold, exchanged, or deferred to a future year.
5.3 Participants must abide by all London Marathon rules and regulations, which can be found at [insert link to official TCS London Marathon rules].
6. Withdrawal and Cancellation
6.1 If a winner withdraws, their bid amount will still be considered a donation to CEO Sleepout UK.
6.2 If a winner fails to fulfil the payment within the specified timeframe, CEO Sleepout UK reserves the right to offer the place to the next highest bidder.
7. Data Protection
7.1 By submitting a bid, you agree to the collection and use of your personal data for the purposes of administering the auction and your participation in the London Marathon 2025.
8. Liability
8.1 CEO Sleepout UK will not be held responsible for any loss, injury, or damage arising from participation in the London Marathon or associated activities.
9. Amendments
9.1 CEO Sleepout UK reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, provided that such amendments are communicated to participants promptly.
10. Acceptance
10.1 By placing a bid, you confirm your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
